The design draws inspiration from 1970s futurism and the Space Age, emphasizing movement and flexibility. Each arm and shade can rotate and twist in different directions, creating a unique, sculptural light effect that illuminates the entire space. "Sahn" means "three" in Japanese, representing the three different shades that have become emblematic of 101 Copenhagen's classic lighting design. Each shade offers a different lighting experience, adding a rich and playful character to the fixture.
