As a reference to the Japanese sport of sumo, the Sumo series celebrates the beauty of the torso, drawing inspiration from the traditional Japanese sport of sumo to design a pointed-footed base and a voluminous vase body.

All the vases have different mouth designs, from the traditional narrow vase opening to double openings and deeply carved pointed mouths.

The series focuses on the contrast between the familiar vase shape and the addition of more artistic, abstract ideas and details, refreshing our view of the vase form—more attentive to formal detail and abstract as art-object vessels, transcending our previous imagination of what a vase form could be.

As it is a hand-glazed natural product, the colour may vary slightly, and the form is closer to that of a ceramic craft piece.
It is therefore marked as less than 100% waterproof. We recommend following waterproofing principles in use to maintain the product's colour and quality; a waterproof bag for flowers is included for your use.
