The Sphere series carries a distinctive silhouette and texture, elegantly sculpted, with each vase adorned with intricate, ornate detail. Brought together in a decorative and sculptural way, it has now become a striking visual signature of 101 Copenhagen. Inspired by ancient Chinese vases, the faded earth tones are a hallmark of the Sphere series, and the precise proportions and contrast between the smooth shapes and sharp edges are works developed in close collaboration with highly skilled ceramicists.

Sphere Shisen is a new version of the Sphere series, characterised by its unique, refined design that interweaves hundreds of small circles into a tactile pattern, revealing a distinctive surface texture. "Shisen" in Japanese means "net" or "a way of seeing things."

The interior features a waterproof coating, allowing it to hold fresh flowers; the hand-applied glaze on the exterior gives the vase a unique matte texture, with each piece varying slightly in colour.
