Dancing Pendant Lamp
For the Copenhagen design duo Iskos-Berlin, design is an art of storytelling, and the Dancing Pendant they created for Audo Copenhagen is a perfect embodiment of this idea. Elegant and refined yet with a hint of playfulness, the lamp draws its inspiration from the pleated skirt that flares as a dancer spins, from concept to final form, the design is at once precise and orderly, soft and flowing.
This sustainably designed lamp is made of warm, tactile polyester felt, a material produced from recycled plastic bottles that can itself be recycled, mechanically pressed in a wooden mould with heat and moisture. This technique gives the product a lightweight yet stable structure, combining design appeal with sustainability.
