Denmark's Audo Copenhagen (formerly Menu) is renowned for timeless Nordic design; its chairs, side tables and home accessories are both beautiful and durable. NOSA is the official agent in Taiwan, offering a curated selection of design objects from Europe, Japan and Korea, helping you compose a home that is uniquely yours, one warm and considered piece at a time.
A creation by the Norm design team, this is a lighting series with a strong Zen feel, designed for a Japanese restaurant. Hashira (meaning "pillar" in Japanese) is inspired by Japanese-style lanterns; a metal frame outlines the structure, paired with linen textile, and the ivory-white translucent quality creates soft light and shadow, presenting a refined, tranquil and profound philosophical mood. It is a wabi-sabi serene design that blends Nordic and Japanese styles.
This pendant lamp continues the pillar-shaped design of the floor and table lamps in the same series, wrapped on the outside in translucent fabric that faintly reveals the beauty of the inner structure's lines, and is suspended from the ceiling by a textile cord. The pendant lamp creates soft ambient light, ideal as an accent above a dining table, and also suitable for reception areas or hotel guest rooms, delivering a minimal yet textured lighting effect.
