Hako means box or storage in Japanese, and in the 101 Copenhagen universe it is a furniture series inspired by Japanese living.The Hako series products are all handcrafted from large blocks of ash wood and French cane webbing, forming translucent fronts or tops. The wooden surfaces transition smoothly into the metal frame and fittings, creating a refined, modern style. The distinctive conical legs and slender metal tray are made from electroplated metal.
