Ingo Maurer from Germany, a master of lighting, creating light for those who understand design. NOSA is the official Taiwan distributor, curating design pieces from Europe, Japan and Korea, putting together your home one warm, design-led piece at a time.
Designed by Ingo Maurer in 1980, this work uses three layers of handmade Japanese washi paper to build a cloud-like, poetic lightness. Through the clever counterweight of a red iron ring, the lamp body floats elegantly and its height can be freely adjusted. The soft light passes through the deliberately preserved paper creases, diffusing warm shadows into the air, turning light, material and gravity into a serene art of space.
