The Gear table, with its robust pillars and thick tabletop, stands almost like a modest brutalist sculpture.

Inspired by the Brutalist architecture movement of the 1950s, a style characterized by geometric forms and raw concrete surfaces. The Gear series translates the architectural vocabulary of Brutalism into furniture design, deliberately softening its originally austere tone. For example, the grooves of the table legs create shadow effects depending on the angle of light, adding a dynamic layer to the appearance.

Gear uses the same raw concrete as the main material as early Brutalist architecture, and through a tinting process gives it a warm, soft texture, making the overall design more tactile and approachable. Each table goes through nine handcrafted processes, finely made by artisans, and in the final stage is colored through four steps, presenting a slightly varied, unique appearance.

Available in two tones, Chalk and Earth: the former has a powdery white texture, the latter a warm brownish tone, adding a soft atmosphere to the concrete and making it easier to pair with wooden or fabric furniture.
